How to connect

Enable the Google Play Android Developer API
- Open Google Cloud → APIs & Services → Library
- Search for Google Play Android Developer API and click Enable

Create a service account
In Google Cloud → APIs & Services → Credentials:
- Click Create credentials → Service account
- Name it ReviewTower, click Continue, skip the role step, click Done
- Open the new service account → Keys tab → Add key → Create new key → JSON
- Download the JSON file — you'll upload it to ReviewTower shortly

Grant access in Google Play Console
In Google Play Console → Users and Permissions:
- Click Invite new users
- Enter the service account's email address (found in Google Cloud under your service account)
- Under Account permissions, enable View app information and download bulk reports and Reply to reviews
- Click Send invitation

Add your credentials in ReviewTower
Go to Settings → Store Credentials:
- Upload your service account JSON key file
- Click Save credentials — ReviewTower validates and encrypts it immediately

Connect your Android app
- Go to the Apps page and click Add App — give it a name (e.g. your app's display name)
- Click + Add Android on the app you just created
- Enter your app's package name (e.g.
com.example.myapp) — the Google Play API doesn't return a list of apps, so this must be entered manually - Save — ReviewTower will begin syncing reviews
