Before you begin

You’ll need Google Cloud access to create a service account and key, plus Play Console permission to invite users and grant app access. These are two separate steps.

Choose the Cloud project

Open Google Cloud Console. Select an existing project you manage, or create one. Under APIs & Services → Library, enable Google Play Android Developer API in that same project.

Create a service account

Open IAM & Admin → Service Accounts → Create service account. Name it ReviewTower. No Cloud project role is needed for review access. Copy its email address for the next step.

Grant access to your app

In Play Console → Users and permissions, invite the service-account email. Under App permissions, add your app and grant View app information (read-only), View app quality information, and Reply to reviews. Save or send the invitation. You don’t need account-wide Admin access.

Download its JSON key

Back in Google Cloud, open that service account’s Keys → Add key → Create new key → JSON. Keep the downloaded file safe. The private key cannot be downloaded again.

Verify and import

In ReviewTower, open Settings → Connect your stores, upload the JSON file and choose Verify & connect. We check access to your added app before connecting. Wait for the import result.
